When clutter is visible it distracts from the beauty of our individuality or our possibilities. It is like the clothes that no longer fit us that are still in the closet, we have outgrown them or that big stack of mail or catalogs on the nice newly designed kitchen counter top, just looking at it becomes too much of a stress because we keep saying oh I don’t feel like dealing with this today I will wait until tomorrow but tomorrow never comes, so we leave it there. We add on to things that should have be dealt with, and the clutter brings on the baggage of unsolved issues.  THERE IS NO BEAUTY IN CLUTTER!!!

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8

Fear will threaten our stability. When faith and fear are at war, fear competes for a space that only God can fill. When you choose to allow fear to reside and to occupy in a dry and void place (a place that’s not flourishing and fed by God’s Word), fear becomes your god and drowns out every other voice… even God’s.

Joel 2:25 Amplified Bible (AMP)

“And I will compensate you for the years

That the swarming locust has eaten,

The creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust—

My great army which I sent among you.

2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

The bible speaks of swarming locust, For four consecutive years, the harvest was completely wiped out. People were brought to their knees in more ways than one they were desolated.

The locusts came upon all the land of Egypt and settled on

The whole country , such a dense swarm of locusts as had never been before,

Can you imagine swarms of locusts marching like an insect army through our home and all that we have established and posses, relationships that we have had over the years, jobs and etc. multiplying their number as they go, destroying all that they come in contact with.

The bible says the harvest was completely wiped out.  The promises at that time meant that years of abundant harvests would follow the years of desolation brought about by the locusts. (grasshoppers)

Sometimes we find ourselves in a desolated place spiritual, mentally and physically.

But God has also put this promise in the Bible for us today.

Lost years are fruitless years, painful years, selfish years. loveless years.  rebellious years and misdirected years.

Take comfort and know that there is hope, God can restore your lost, locust years. The promises of God lets us know that our loses through the trials and test in our life can be restored
